The Current Texas Tech Football Team

The Texas Tech Red Raiders football team represents Texas Tech University (TTU) in the sport of American football. The Red Raiders competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the South Division of the Big 12 Conference.

Texas Tech has produced 32 conference championships, with 19 additional divisional titles. The team has made 41 bowl appearances, which is 17th most of any university. The Red Raiders rank as the 20th winningest program in NCAA Division I football history, with an all-time record of 735–567–43 (.561).
